Ok straight to it.
I have the above monitor & basically I got in this evening put my pc on...fine.
Kicked off AVG to check updates (been out of country for a few days) then went upstairs to bath both of my kids.
When I came down the pc was running but the power light (blue) was flashing with no picture. Ok no worries I'll just move the mouse/hit a key like normal to come out of power save.
Only this time nothing happened. I tried rebooting many times. Initially the light comes on, top corner shows an animation of either analog or digital. It can't do either then flicks to an animation of red/green/blue square with the message 'check signal cable' & analog below. This moves around the screen with nothing happening.
I've checked all cables & gone through all the trouble shooting options here

to no avail.
Has anyone got suggestions I could try.
I haven't tried other cables yet... Will have to purchase them first but a bit reluctant to splash out if something silly.
