SQL Server Compact Edition: SQL Server Compact Edition is a client side database that SyncToy uses to store its metadata. As a part of the SyncToy installation, SQL Server Compact Edition 3.1 will be installed on the target machine.

it's just a few dll's, takes up 1.7mb

i was a bit suss when installing too, but took no time and can't see any exe's running, it's just dll's

Ooh thanks for the update Bledd (sorry). I use SyncToy weekly.

Will uninstalling the older version affect e.g. the ability of the new to continue with the task in hand as so to speak?

Typo, I deffo read it as "Bledd" I must have just typed his name out as Bleed by mistake.

What do you mean as an on going joke? Have I done this before?

Nah I've just seen bledd being referred to as bleed by a few people in a few threads now. Just wondered if it was some joke on their part. Certainly wasn't implying it was just you.

Nah, as said I read it in my mind as "Bled(d)" but I guess just typing it out I must have typed "Bleed". I'm not in any way dsylexic lol not sure what happened there.

Just had a quick search through other Windows and Other Software threads I don't think I have made the same mistake before.

Shouldn't make it again, I know how annoying it is when people say Greenlizard and leave the "0" off the end.

Is this version now supporting folder deletions too? (old version would recognise a deleted folder and wipe the contents accordingly BUT leave the folder there...)

I use AllwaySync so will use V2 of this again if AllwaySync stops working

Anyone got any screenshots ?
