Will SyncToy actually attempt to backup in use files or folders

AND

Will SyncToy backup files with filepaths whcih are pretty long. SyncBack fails here. It fails on files with filepaths which are too long?

Ive used Synctoy :/ but I dont know the answer to either of these hehe


Good news is, Synctoy is easy to test

I use Synctoy x64 edition no problems backing up anything.

If you tell it to backup C then it will backup everything under C.

i had some issues with synctoy freezing with big backups and not liking synching mapped drives across my network so have been using the opensource synkron which so far has been flawless

Synctoy will fail with long paths.
