Looking to get a nice tidy NAS solution for home, ideally like the Synology 106e http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-000-SY

Anyone got any experience with these ?
What about other similar devices, I have read quite good things about the Freecom FSG3 Wireless Gateway too.......?

Purpose is to act as backup device, file sever (from wherever I may be in the world), website hosting (save on current hosting fees), and quite likely print server as well. I don't really want to go down the dedicated PC route, as I kinda want something small and compact, as well as transportable (for occasional use elsewhere)

Thoughts and/or suggestions, please

Dont buy the 106e buy the 106.. more Ram and runs faster. When you find out what you can do as well as the extra things that you are not SUPPOSED to do (like Usenet or eMule etc) with unofficial upgrades you'll appreicate the extra ram. Its a nice box!
