Synology 212j only showing half storage?

I've recently bought a 212j and 2x 2TB WD reds to go in.
It's booted ok, the drives are showing up ok but volume 1 only shows 1.8TB free.. Any ideas why?

Is it something to do with fault protection?
If so.. How do u change it?

I assume the disks have been mirrored for redundancy.

If you're looking to add the capacities together then you need to change to RAID 0.

No redundancy with that though and if one disk fails all the data is lost.
