Synology not making use of gigabit fibre

I have a DS215j hooked up to my Hyperoptic Hyperhub with a cat5e cable.

When I plug the same cable in to my laptop and do a speedtest, I get over 600Mbps.

But when I hook up my Synology and run Download Station, I seem to max the line out at around 10MB/s (or 80ish Mbps).

The NAS has a gigabit lan, the network is showing that it is gigabit too, and I know the cable can do more as my laptop does.

I've checked all the settings on he Hyperhub and in DSM and I can't see anything that would be limiting speeds/bandwidth.

Any ideas?

Download Station as in torrents? The 215j has an anaemic processor, I wouldn't be surprised if it was maxed out doing 10MB of Torrent/NNTP traffic.

Cpu's only sitting at 50%, oh well, it's not the end of the world as it's a 24/7 device.

If the switch/device are showing 1gbit negotiated then the constraint will most likely be the device.. not surprised really.

Limit the amount of connections per torrent to 15.
