Heya folks this is my first post on the forum so please be gentle with me.I'm looking for advice for a build around 2 Titan (non black edition )graphics cards.

I already have the 2 cards, case,hd drive,1200w psu and a corsair H100i cpu cooler so i'm looking for the best motherboard, cpu and ram combination to get the best out of the graphics cards and avoid as little bottlenecking as possible.

I would also like to add i'm using a 1440p monitor and the system will be purely for gaming.

Many thanks in advance for your advice !

Welcome to the forum Darren.

1 x Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £259.99
1 x Gigabyte Z87X-OC Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £157.99
1 x TeamGroup Vulcan ORANGE 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit (TLAD38G2400HC11CDC01) £55.99
Total : £483.58 (includes shipping : £8.00).

You could get away with an i5-4670K at the risk of just a little bottlenecking. And it could be a different, cheaper mobo. However, the Z87X-OC has great reviews and is said to be the best for overclocking for around that price. Although that will also depend on the CPU chip you land, as they all don't overclock the same.

That RAM matches the board perfectly and is at a great price. If you don't mind paying more for better quality and some LED bling, then the Avexir Orange would be my choice:

P.S. Do you have an SSD?

Any reason you were looking at a 4770k bundle (with a cooler)? Rather than individual parts?

On the 2011, why spend 'a cool G' (£1000) on that when £500 worth of component will do the same job.

As here ^,

This will handle both TITANs with no bottlenecks and blast through 1440p.

Prices are still the same too.

Really either would be fine for the build, only go with IB-E if you're going to be using all 6 cores or more than 2 cards.
