System appears to have reduced flow - pump needs cleaning?

Hey guys,

I noticed that in the past few weeks, the spinner on my EK bay reservoir has been turning much slower than previously.

I am assuming this is a sign that something could be blocking the loop, and the pump is therefore struggling. What could be causing this? And what is the best way to clean the pump/loop to deal with it?

I plan on doing some maintenance on the loop on Friday, when I can also install a waterblock for my GTX 670 FTW.

Any suggestions/advice please!

if you have an impingement plate in your cpu block, it's likely the plactisizer has leached from the pipes and gunked up the block.

strip down your loop and give it a good clean

What's the best way to clean it all?

I still have a tonne of distilled water I can use to flush things, but anything else I should use? Sorry, first time I've had to properly strip the loop since building it.
