System boot error .... Help please

I get this blue screen ..saying

STOP:c0000221 Unknown Hard Error
\systemroot\system32\ntdll.dll

I cant getinto my pc even in safe mode. any advice please, or suggestions to boot my pc

ok i am now in recovery console, which command shal i type ?

im really struggling now, ve tried loads, im not sure if i need to replace thefile, ntdll.dll ?

I had a similar problem a while back.

For some no reason the bios was trying to boot from my other hard drive, which didn't have windows on it.

Try going into your bios and make sure windows is trying to boot from the correct hard drive.

I managed to jsut this minute solve my problem

i was only using one hard drive so i was pretty screwed, also using sata drive i was unable to copy over my data to my parents pc to backup, as i would have done that then formatted my drive..

what i did, was wizz down to overclockers and buy an identical drive £30

Install a fresh copy of windows onto it, then plug back in my knackered drive, then copy over my data that needed saving,

haha now im in the process of backing ev eryhng upto dvd's

I am wondering about setting this thing up called RAID/ but dont want to risk loosing current data in setting it up lol
