Really don't understand this, system has been fine for months, both during day, over night and full gaming... However I took the side case off, put an SSD in and when I booted windows instant BSOD. Took out the drive, restarted and instant BSOD, memory blah blah and even froze multiple times in Bios too.

The only change was putting an SSD in the system, could a faulty SSD cause this?

Power Down = Auto
Memory Context Restore = Enabled
EXPO 1 = Enabled

Although I don't think any of those would cause it

If you are going to use Memory Context restore then you need to enable power down too, not leave it on auto, especially on an ASUS board.

Aslo depending on your bios version, you may be better off just entering your memory speed, volatge and timings manually, ive had multiple issues on different bioses using Expo 1, just recently TBH.

Thanks Jamin!

For some reason it's been working fine for the last three months. Changed over to EXPO II, Power Down Enabled / Memory Context Restore Disabled and all's good! I know you get longer boot times with MCR disabled but i've heard it's more stable that way
