Hi there can any one advise me on this sytem please
i need to fit around 6-8 1TB WD Hard Drives and a 9600GT Nvidia GFX card (or maybe a slightly faster one in the future)

my questions are
1: do i need the 750W PSU or would the Corsair TX 650W do the trick ?
2: do i need the Antec 902 or would a cheaper case keep the temps down just as well if so which one?
3: do i need any other parts to complete the build that i have missed ?
4: can you advise any other more powerful parts ? (i would like the usb3 and sata 3 in this build)

*OVERCLOCKED* Intel Core i7 930 2.80GHz @ 4.20GHz Max / Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 Intel X58 DDR3 Motherboard / Patriot Viper 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel DDR3 Bundle £622.12 1 £622.12

Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard £131.91

That's a lot of porn.

You can save a lot of money by buying a i7 920, patriot viper ram and the asus motherboard that are all on special this week only offer.

The 650w psu is sufficient.

If you where to connect that many harddrives, you would have C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K in your my computer screen! Not including optical drives!

Not sure the motherboard has that many sata connections.

I would be easier to setup one large array of disks, with one letter D:

I don't know anymore to help you.

thanks
nice to hear the 650W would be sufficient and would give enough power to overclock
have never set up 'one large array of disks'
the gigabyte range has a min of 8 sata connections i am lead to belive

can anyone help me with these questions?

That case only has 6 internal 3.5inch bays and 3 external 5.25inch bays.

Look at the antec website, you need either the 1200 or a server case.

The Fratcal Design R2 case has 8 HDD bays, maybe worth a look....

If you add the extra fans it will stay cool enough I'd think.
