System build - I have a basket, please can you check it?

I would change a few things. Firstly you want a haswell 1150 cpu and motherboard. Also the Samsung Evo SSD is one of the better ssd's.

I will spec you some parts once the website stops playing up :D

Basically you want -

i5-4670K 1150 cpu
Gigabyte Z87-HD3 1150 ATX board
Samsung Evo SSD 128GB
Superflower 650W Power supply

I was going to do you a spec, but seems the shop site is at it again, "PAGE NOT AVAILABLE" every time I click on an item. Only bloody website I have problems with.
Sorry.

I tried opening a thread once here in GH, complaining about the number of repeat emails I was receiving and how many time I could`nt load web pages on the forum or shop site. But it was removed, Stulid said it was`nt the correct place and did`nt say where it should be posted. Btw, the most repeat emails I`ve had is 46 and a few of 26. The problem with loading pages for me at any time, day or night, has now gone on for nearly a year. Page not available and error 304 are common occurrances.
Sorry for the rant in your thread OP.

It's ok Idleman, I appreciate that you came to do a spec for me and that's very kind of you. I've struggled with the web page, but updated my basket to include the items lee suggested as I agree with all of the changes. As it's a gaming machine, pretty much the more I can spend on the graphics card the better, but with it having to be under 750 I am struggling to strip back the costs anywhere else. It's not a machine for me, it's for a friend and I would really like it to also feel fast and responsive, hence the SSD. It does go through me that it will be connected to a TV and not a real monitor, and that he won't have a nice keyboard and mouse yet, but that's not up to me :).

Also if you want to get the UD3H, you can get it and get ~£40 back on selling the free mouse that comes with it - better board, similar price :D

You could do something like this just to get your Friend started. Then fit a bigger hard drive at a later date. I haven't got a hard drive in my pc at the moment. I just use a 128GB SSD. I know it's £30 over budget, but you get a better graphics card.

Hi Idleman, sorry for the slow reply. I do have access to the MM but I needed to build two of the systems, one for a friend... and one for a friends friend. My PC own PC died a death shortly after ordering and so I haven't been able to reply. I went for a combination of the changes suggested above in the end, along with the superflower PSU.

Picture of the new systems, thanks for the help guys :)

Is the cat helping too ? :D

The video output on one of the graphics cards seems to be broken, i've tried reseating it and unplugging and replugging the power. The onboard graphics does work fine. The graphics card shows up in device manager and the drivers install, but then it says sometimes "The device was stopped because of an error - code 43". I checked all of the bios settings and they are the same as the other one, I still get no video output from it. I then plugged in my monitor into the on board graphics and my tv into the graphics card, it detects that there is a new display, but when I clone or extend the desktop to it, there is no video output.

After a lot of messing about, I put in one of my R9 290 cards and it worked first time...

Is there anything else I can try at all, or is it a dead card? I also tried just using the HDMI to the TV from the graphics card on it's own and that didn't work either.
