System Build Service from OCUK?

Hi,

Do OCUK offer a custom build facility?
So I could pick specific components and get it built?

I have built a few PC's myself and was quite competent at it in the 90's, but then CPU paste started getting involved and it put me off

Basically I'm looking for a low noise i5/i7 CPU with 128GB SSD, 2TB storage, 8GB memory. Nothing amazing really, something that will power through MS Office, and play a bit of Starcraft 2 / WoW.

I like the look of this one, but there is no mention of low noise.

Cpu coolers come with the paste already applied, so no mess there If you stick with the stock Intel one it just clicks into the board with 4 pegs.

If you wanted a prebuilt one you can speak to customer services and make any changes you wanted. I would also get one of the Superflower power supplies, as the one in your post is pretty naff (OCUK power supply)

Where you based? if a members based near you, im pretty sure with some kind words and encouragement you can probably someone to come round and show you how to build it

Save a bit of cash that way too and can pick the bits you want
