System built just one main issue...

Hi,

I ordered the parts on saturday and they was here prompt Tuesday afternoon. Took me about 4 hours to completely put it all together and first startup attempt was sucsessful. :)

Everything is installed and running cool.

My only issues are i have a Netgear WG311T 108Mbps Wireless PCI adapter

The first issue is the power LED on the card isn't illuminated but the LED underneath this called ACT? is illuminated.

First of i install the software and then told to reboot the sytem and another popup from the netgear installation should display informing me to install the actual driver i believe for the wirelss card. But this doesn't happen and when i click the shortcut that the software puts on my desktop to try and run it this way i still have no response.

Does anyone here no the problem or had the same kind of issues?

The other problem is in the following picture:

The CPU cooler hits the fan in the top of the case. Can anyone think of a cure for this. It is too close to leave as shown in the picture. the fan is sat on top of the case at the moment and it looks daft.

You could have a look around for some thinner/low profile fans? Not sure if they're available but someone here's bound to know.

No idea about your LED issue I'm afraid
 
Some coolers let you reorientate them to suit your needs, its hard to see but I imagine you would have tried that already.
 
Yes this one doesn't unfortunately. I will look for a thinner fan. It'll do me fine on top of the tower for now :)

Any ideas on the wireless adapter? ive just looked on netgears website and have read the vista doesn't support the 108mbps. Can anyone shed any light on this. Windows doesn't seem to recognise it asit doesn't say hardware found in the bottom right corner.
 
Yes im running 64bit. I'm not sure. It just doesn't seem to recognise it in windows as new hardware. And the driver disk doesn't load properly once the software is installed. But i've also downloaded this from the website and it does exactly the same.
