System check before purchasing please ?

Hi guys,

Looking to get a new gaming rig, to save some cash I plan to put it together myself and wouldn't mind someone looking over it to make sure everything will work together and that im not missing out anything I will need before I order everything.

It will mainly be used to play DOTA 2 and Guild Wars 2 and record gameplay.

Spec is looking reasonable.

psu is great but a high price
Fastest 1TB Drive on the Market (apart from raptors etc) and sdd offerings at x the price

samsung is great but for £3 more you get the faster intel one, if you dont mind the controller etc, which i don't works great

only saying as well don't change anything unless you want, as it's choice, either way your's will work

Any reason you are going with the 660Ti?

If you are thinking about going SLI, don't go with the Ti, it doesn't scale very well. You should be looking at the 670 or ATI 7850/7950.

Thanks for the heads up, is that just a regular fan or a water cooled one ? To the right of the imag it says its a NZXT Havik 120 CPU Cooler but in the "Bundel Specifications" it says its a Alpenfohn K2 Mount Doom CPU Cooler and in the pic it doesnt look like a regular fan to me.

Im going to flag that up as a issue/error with shop staff.
