hi all ive been chosen to help me dad build his new pc (lucky me? hehe).

at the moment he has

m/b - abit kn9
cpu - am2 64 amd not sure what it is exactly

im looking at getting for it now

Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C5 TwinX (2x1GB)

graphic card well aint sure max is £100 inc vat looking at BFG GeForce 8600 GT OC 256MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)

Western Digital Caviar Special Edition 160GB 1600AAJS SATA-II 8MB Cache

Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CMPSU-520HXUK)

this aint set in stone other than m/b and cpu.any input would be great he is on a very tight budget tho.

thanks for reply it will be for gaming on xp at the mo cus we all know vista aint to hot in that department.

he has case,moniter,speakers etc just the insides he needs.he got given cpu and mobo just needs the rest.funny thing is he only plays castle wolfenstien hehe.....no he plays other games to eg armed assault,stalker etc.

he does abit of internet,music creation (he plays guiter),invoices nothing to demanding other than games.
