System check

hi there have finished my new build in my spec, have overclocked the gfx card using ati overdrive and left that at its optimum settings and overclocked the cpu to 400mhz i.e. 3.8ghz.

Now i was running lost planet with most of the settings maxed out and running the performance test program it was running at about 40 fps so obviously pushing the system and it crashed about half way through, i checked the memory using memtest and thats all fine pressume the gfx card is ok as that was done using the ati tool. And an e8500 running at 3.8ghz shouldnt be a problem as i see these set up as +4ghz all the time.

Is there anyway of me finding out which part of the system is failing/ not set up right?

Nope, is that a must do?

Just tried and it has come up with a hardware error and says consult stress.txt, where are these files kept?

currently running the memory 1:2 as its ddr3 and is still at default speeds! So how do i know what the hardware issue is? I was running blend so will try small ffts.
