System/Compat Check before I buy

Yes DEFFO go for an SSD, no PC should be without one these days.

I vote 290 too - 780's are great if you prefer nvidia for whatever reason but they are still overpriced

So much money saved he can easily have one if he wants one for some reason and sell the Seidon.

But there are better/cheaper competing air heatsinks:p

Even included a SSD which is silly not to have.

And why has no one pointed out that the R9 290 is faster than a GTX780? - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1068?vs=1036

I would personally go for a K2 cooler if it was my build.

That benchmark is for stock cards though isn't it ? Also doesn't the 780 perform better in certain games ?

I have an Samsung Evo 250gb already! :D, and stulid i need 16gb ram not 8 also isn't the noctua the best cooler?? and people are saying the AMD 290 suck for reliability?

You never said you had an SSD already, shame on you:p

I would pick a Alpenfohn K2 over a NH-D14, as its cheaper, looks better and just as effective. Remember to pick RAM carefully with some air coolers as the tall heatspreaders can cause fitment issues.

**You get Free shipping too but I forgot to log in ** :D

The G1 sniper is not bad, there has been around 5 people in total moaning about it compared to the numbers sold (last time I looked it was 72 back on the 3rd, this doesn't include system or bundles). The problem is you always see the same people moaning over and over again so it appears to be a lot.

Hello again all, Thanks for the suggestions, I have decided I am going to go with this setup;

PSU: Corsair Professional Series AX 760
DVD: 24 x dual layer dvd writer
HD1: 1tb WD CAVIAR BLACK
HD2: 256gb Samsung Evo
BOARD: Asus Z87 MAXIMUS VI HERO Intel Z87
RAM: Intel Core i7 Quad Core i7-4770k
GPU: Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 780
RAM: 16gb Corair Vengence Red 2400
COOLER: Corsair h100i
CASE: CM Storm Scout II Advanced (BLACK)

I'm unable to get finance with Hitachi Finance, so I am going to chip away at these over a 4/5 months. Hopefully I wont have any issues with any parts as it might be too late to get them replaced but fingers crossed! (Got the case and the SSD already)

I may swap the GPU to a Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 290X - depending on how much money I have - gonna get the GPU last ofc

I'm going to get some Corsair quiet fans/red LED's and red cables as well so it should look pretty good!

Comments welcome :)
