Wanted a compatability check and any recommendations without pushing the price up etc.

King :)

P.S Already have a 600GT ;)

It is all compatible as far as I can see, what are they going to be using the PC for? You have a majorly expensive soundcard and speakers which are overkill for the rest of the system. Do you also need the print server/switch? As it stands still a couple of recommendations though.

I'd get something other than the Hiper as a PSU, maybe the Akasa 460w or Tagan TG480-U01 480W, nether are modular but I think they are generally more solid PSUs. I'd also try to save the £10 or so to get the 200gb 7200.10 rather than the 7200.9.

The motherboard isn't much good for overclocking so with a Conroe it might be best to change. The case is rather expensive so I'd say go for a Lian-Li PC7 which I believe offers better cooling plus I think it looks better but I'll obviously concede that is just personal preference :)

Finally Nero Express sucks or at least it did when I last used it a year or so ago but I suppose for the price it is churlish to complain.

Ok should have explained a little more.

My friend really like the case, he picked all the peripharals stuff etc. He's a musician and is part of the band so the sound card / speakers are important to him for obvious reasons.

I'm actually gonna take ** advice and getting a better PSU. He won't really be into overclocking and basically looking for the best value for money stable board? Any recommendations on that?

Finally the print server is actually for me! (Forgot to remove it from the list :p)

Anyone?

Edit: Will be used for music editing, office/college work and minor gaming.

King :)
