Just a quick question about max memory setting in boot advanced opitions do i have it ticked or not if yes at what amount set to. it will only go to 4000 i have 6 gig of ram

Mine is unchecked. You should only be using that if you want to limit the memory. If not, leave it unchecked.

Does Windows see all 6GB in System properties? [Windows Key + Pause/Break]

yes all 6gb are showing. but that windows/pause dont work

If Windows sees all 6GB of RAM.. why are you even messing around in MSConfig?

Been playing crysis warhead and memory went up to 92% just crysis was running. didnt know if my pc was seeing all the ram

What version of Windows are you using? I am assuming Vista or 7 64bit. If it goes back to normal when you're done, then there is nothing to be concerned about.

If you open up the Task Manager, then Performance tab, then click Resource Monitor, then click on Memory, you get a nice little chart showing you how your memory is being used.

Green and Orange sections are RAM being used by running programs. Dark blue is cached items and light blue is free RAM. Cached stuff is always cleared away to make room for running programs, so don't worry if this take up most of whats left of your RAM
