Hi i ordered a pc using the configurator using the following spec:

CPU Cooler: Akasa Venom CPU Cooler

Motherboard: Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z Intel Z68

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MHz C8 Memory Kit

GPU: OcUK GeForce GTX 580 1536MB GDDR5

GPU 2(SLI): OcUK GeForce GTX 580 1536MB GDDR5

HARD DRIVE:Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 32MB Cache

BLU-RAY/DVD DRIVE: LG BH10LS30 10x BluRay-RW / 16 x DVD±RW Drive

Power Supply: Corsair Pro Gold AX1200W

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

Network Adapter: TP Link 300Mbps Wireless-N USB Adapter

Fully Cable Managed.

Now i'm just wondering will everything be installed and ready to go or will i have to install anything myself?

I heard somewhere that they don't install some parts.

As in Cooler' Gpu's' etc

I thought when ordering using the configurator they would install everything for you so that it would be ready to use kinda like prebuilt?

If one of you guys from the forums or an employee of overclockers could clear this up that would be great.

Thanks.

the graphics cards will very probably be packaged separately to avoid damage in transit. it is a 2 minute job to install them and get the computer up and running though (its literally take side off case, put card in the top slot that it will fit in, plug power cables in, put side back on)

the cooler will probably be attached, but im very surprised that they are happy to transport your computer with the venqom attached. if you want to make sure the processor cooler will be attached go for one of the all in one watercoolers like the corsair H60 or H80 or the antec khuler 620 or 920

I already ordered though.

Its been shipped and everything.

I wouldn't be too bothered if i had to install the gpu's however the cooler on the other hand i would have trouble installing it.

As i have no experience in installing components hence the configurator option.

Cheers

As said above, the graphics cards will be removed for transit as otherwise they will dcimate the PCI-E slot and the cards will probably also be trashed.
The cooler is not removed for transit. This is unfortunately why we don't use the better air coolers as due to the size and weight they are very prone to transit damage. All of the coolers we currently offer on systems have almost no chance of getting damaged in transit.

Ok thanks a lot for getting back to me.

One more question what type and size are the screws for the gpu and what screwdriver should i use ?

Thank you.
