I've got a 3.5year old Overclockers system and its been great, but recently, I've been having a few issues that I'm struggling to work out what is wrong

1) Random crashes while gaming and some 'out of memory' messages when not doing anything taxing, so I though its maybe memory?
2) When opening up File Explorer it can take a literal minute for the window to pop up. Sometimes I get similar delays when moving the view from directory to directory. So I thought its the SSD or the MB?

I've done the inbuild windows memory tester and crystaldisk info and both are not highlighting any problems.

Not tried the old fashions brute force of a Windows reinstall.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Right now if I changed hardware and be hoping rather then expecting a fix and if I'm going to do that I'll probably rather play it safe with a new system.

Quite possible just needs windows reinstall
You could try a live usb
Either a windows one or a Linux one
If no issues doing stuff in those
I would probably reinstall windows which is likely
To be quicker than trying all sorts of trouble shooting anyway

I'd do a Windows install out of habit, just to rule it out

And things like this
Are why I install windows on multiple drives
Boot to a different drive that only has
The basics installed
And see if problem is replicated
To help rule out a hardware problem
Lot of the time it's windows problem or from all
The different softwares installed
