System doesn't turn off when I shut down

Hi all

I bought a new GPU yesterday (second hand), Fitted and tested, all works fine and performing great. The issue I've come across is the fact my PC doesn't turn off when I shut down, it just keeps the fans spinning on CPU and Case fans?!

Anybody have an idea of what can be causing this?

Is it staying off when you hold the power button?

Yes, when it comes to turning off I need to hold the power button, I will try the above later and hopefully it will resolve it

Hi all,

So I've had a look at the above possibilities and the pc still doesn't turn off when I shut down, fans stay spinning and CPU heatsink still spinning?

I must be missing something in a setting somewhere

Had the same problem last year. Turned out it was an expansion card which didnt liked my 7900XTX.

So you reckon something conflicting with the GPU?
