Hi there, I'm trying to figure out a problem thats been with my mums PC for some time now, but had no luck, and is driving my mum mad!
When hitting the power button all fans etc power up as normal. Theres a 50/50 chance that the computer will start and boot into windows fine. If not then the monitor will fall back into standby mode and nothing will happen at all.
To get the machine to boot after this, the power must be switched off at PSU, on again and then press the comp power button followed by the monitor power button.
In short the machine fails to startup (I think, as I can't see due to the monitor not powering up)
I'm 100% sure its not the monitor as this monitor has been replaced recently. The problems were there with the TFT before this.
Any help would be great!!
