Hi

I want to buy a pc (build it) for my dad, hes into photo editing. I have all the software so i need the components and an OS. I have vista 64 ultimate but im not sure if you can use it on 2 pc's at once ?

I specced one up inc a keyboard mouse and 2.1 speakers and it came to £600 the most i can afford is around £400 MAX.

Problem is i dont really know what he needs so ive probably gone overkill on the ram cpu and GFX card!

he will only be using it for photoshop, and other picture related softwares, and the occasional watchage of a DVD (blueray preffered if in budget).

Alternativly can i buy a system complete that will be just as good ?

Hes already got my old screen, 22" lg 1680x1050. ATI cards would be preffered due to their HDMI HDCHP etc tripe lol.

You will need a new OS as you cant use yours on two different machines, you can also reduce the costs a bit by going with 2GB of ram but I would stick to 4GB. Ah I haven't included keyb + mouse, go with the cheapest, I wouldn't bother with speakers though, let your dad buy himself some nice ones rather than you buy some crappy cheap ones.
