System generally not happy

I have an AMD A10 5800k and tried to overclock it using the AMD Overdrive software. I reached 4.0ghz so I stopped. Everything was acting strange like its slower than it was before, web pages crashing, sometimes unresponsive.

Now I've returned it back to 3.80ghz but the problems remain...

Any ideas?

It is best just to reset all the bios settings, if that is possible?
