Hi there, got a weird thing going on here, can't quite locate the problem...

When booting from cold (off). Me computer will always hang between the windows loading screen and the time the desktop should appear (before mouse becoms visible etc).

However, if I press reset, me computer will reboot fine and get into windows every time no problems.

I'm prime95 stable for 8 hours and same for Memtest86+

I'm not sure whats causing it, I think it may be my overclock on my FSB might needs some more volts on the northbridge...

Anyways, I noticed in another thread that someone with an Asus board similar to mine is having this problem too...

Here's me "specs"...

Asus P5K Premium WiFi\AP
Intel Q6600 SLACR G0
Nvidia 8800GTX
4GB OCZ 1000mhz Dominator RAM
620 OCZ PowerStream PSU

Its running at 443x8 = 3540mhz

Timings on the RAM are...

5-5-5-18-54-can't remember the rest, would appreciate some loose timings to try on those misclaneous settings ate the 54 etc and maybe the others too...

me ram is running on a 5:6 divider at 1064mhz with 2.15v going through it...

Thanks for a any help you lovely people :)

can you boot from cold into safe mode? also, try with everything at stock - it does sound like a possible power issue. If it still crashes at stock I'd try reseating everything as the next step.
