System Monitoring

Sorry, a topic that's probably covered a million times before, but given my rig in the signature below, what tools should I be running to monitor temps etc?

i use Core temp, but there's real temp as well, both are for cpu.
Gpu-z will tell you the gpu temp as well as other info.

There are other but my brain isnt working at the mo

Doesn't really matter if all you want is temps, just a google search for cpu temp or something and find a program. most of the time its down to how good the program is whether people like it more etc

CPUID has HWMonitor (Hard Ware Monitor).
That gives you a breakdown of each major component (CPU, GPU, Mobo, HDD, RAM, etc) and gives temperatures, voltages, rpm and so on.
Very basic, but accurate (in my experience) and all you need for the basic level stuff. It's free too!!

I use this its a pretty nifty, picks up most of my hardware, including gpus.
I also use coretemp from time to time.

If you want something that will monitor temps of gpu and cpu in real time on screen in games, the latest beta version of msi afterburner is great for this.

Don't forget AIDA64, unfortunately only free for 30 days, but a great tool, gives you everything you need and more.
