System out of resources?

Last night while playing EVE, i was enjoying just relaxing around, and all of a sudden, i got error beeps galore, i alt tabbed out, and my whole screen was white with System out of Resources written all over it.....anyone got an idea if there is a log of some sort that will help me identify what happened.

Start -> Run -> Eventvwr.msc
(Or right click My Computer and select Manage)

Those are all of the standard windows logs.

Have a look at Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and see if the Peak Commit Charge is greater than your available phsical RAM.
(If it is greater - More RAM)

Also check your page file size - System managed is fine for XP, you can specify it too if you wish. (As much as your physical RAM or more depending on if you do a lot of work with images etc).

The Event log is the best place to look though.
www.eventid.net can help in diagnosing as well as MS and google.
