Hi guys can anyone help me? I have searched for this but can't seem to find it. There was a way to reduce the size system protection used from your hdd through a cmd window????? If someone could please tell me that would be great.

Hi burnsy yes when you use system protection to restore to an earlier date. It is because vista allocates quite a large chunk of hdd upto 10gig and you could adjust it to use a lower amount.
It was in a thread on here which had other little tips and tricks in. One was about changing the start up screen from a progress bar to a Aero type pic. Does it sound familiar? All i remember was you had to do it through a cmd window. Thanks for taking the time to help!
