You should be able to run it fine. I get over 100fps @1080p on my 5770. Although it has its own issues with strange stutters and uncommon artefacting sometimes. edit: on low doh
I'd say you could run it on high settings with above 30fps.
I've found BF3 to be mostly CPU dependent rather than GPU. When I had a Phenom II X2 555 BE and a 6950 running Battlefield, I would run it on low and not even reach above 30fps while in multiplayer. With a 2500k and 6950 I can now run it at high/ultra no problem.
Medium textures and no /little AA at very respectable frames I reckon. If you can live with dips below 45FPS maybe high. Ambient occlusion, AA and texture levels really dent performance. TBH BF3 looks OKish on low
