Hi there,

I asked a similar question in the General section but didn't get an answer, so I hope you don't mind me asking in here too.

I would like to get a new system which I will be running dual 24" monitors on. What should I be looking for in terms of minimum specification? What are the most important elements? I was thinking the graphics card would be the most importnat thing, is this right? I won't be using it for gaming, just for multiple office applications, but I do want a very sharp picture.

By the way, I am looking at OCUK pre-built systems.

Thanks for your help.

If you are using Vista make sure your graphics card has enough VRAM to run the framebuffer for 2x1920x1200 in Aero (there is a table listing VRAM requirements on the MS website).

Apart from that, most low-end graphics cards from nVidia/ATI will be able to push out pixels to 2 24" monitors.
