I have come across this site, called System Requirements Lab its a free online system check that will help you if you are unsure weather your computer can play a certain game.

System Requirements Lab

System Requirements Lab looks at your computer's hardware and system software to determine whether or not your current system can run a product. Each of your computer's components is evaluated to see how well it meets the minimum and recommended requirements for specific products. Recommendations are made on how to update or upgrade each component which does not meet the listed requirements. Sometimes it is a simple free software download and sometimes it is a link to a product such as the right video card.

I've used that before and it is pretty good. I'm not so sure it works out processors properly though as it kept on telling me mine wasn't good enough for Oblivion because it is clocked at 2.27 ghz, even though it is comparable to a P4 3.2ghz.

I've found it's pretty good if you don't take it too seriously, used to say I couldnt play CoD 2 when I could (albheit pretty badly)

This was posted some time back, I seem to remember a few people had serious problems with it?
