Hey guys looking for some info and help on my new system, ive just recently recieved my new build.... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...id=781&subcat= what i want to know is how do i find out if this system is running what it says in the spec sheet eg this is in the description.... Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 2.40GHz Dual Core CPU Overclocked too a minimum of 2.93GHz and beyond. (9 x 333MHz - 1333MHz FSB) when i check the system info on vista it says 2.4GHz so what does the 2.93GHz refer to? i dont know about overclocking so i dont know what im looking for? also i ran this on 3dmark06 and it got a score of 9705 shouldnt this be higher on a machine of this spec?? iam running this system on a 20" samsung monitor at native 1680x1050 res. is 3dmark06 using my native res to do the test or is it using a lower res caus this could maybe explain the lower score? thanks for any info you can give me

Hi,
the system info should show the overclocked speed of your cpu. Mine reads:-

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz 2.94GHz

You can always download CPU-z to be sure, that shows details on your hardware.

http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

My 3D Mark 06 score is 9719, with my cpu speed as above and a GTS 320mb @ 600/1800.

The link you gave to your system just directs me to the OCUK homepage, so not sure of your spec.

As far as I know, the free version of 3D Mark runs at default res of 1280x1024

Cheers

Here is my system m8......... "Ultima OC 8800GTX" Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 2.40GHz @ X6800+ 2.93GHz Dual Core SILENT DDR2 System - Vista Premium, the link isnt working just now but its in the OC system page if you could take a look m8 :)
