Hi all can some one point me in the right direction? I dont think I have my system running right.
When I first set it up and jump into Call Of Duty I was almost always first in now I have noticed I am getting in a lot slower?

I have been poking around in the BIOS and also installed new drivers Graphics and Motherboard. Also installed a few apps and other games. I have virus/spyware scanned my system and again nothing. I think my system is not setup right but, I am totally lost as to which setting I need to get the best out of setup?

Anyone here got any idea on what/how I should have my system setup I would even like to overclock if it helps me gain any advantage in getting into games quicker :D

p.s In what order do you guys install drivers and which versions. Any thing I should not install which may cause a problem?

Age old problem this. New computer and it moves quicker than a nun's first curry. Few days/weeks later its starting to slow down?

Odds are you have about 10 new processes being run in the background since you first installed Windows. Try disabling these processes, especially anti-virus. You can also try using this: http://www.tweakguides.com/TGTC.html

Its a 175 page PDF on tweaking Windows to make it run like a dream. It has sections on the best way of installing drivers and in the best order. It also shows you a lot of the services and components you can get rid of in Windows to help improve performance.

In the end though it is just a case of you having more software on your computer :)
