My system just shut down!!
Hi all. I'm new to the forum and to Overclocking so if you can, please answer in Laymans Terms!!
My system has just shut off when I tried to load Core Temp.
I've just installed a new CPU Cooler (Zalmann CNPS 8000) today and wanted to check the temps (as you do). Ill throw sum numbers at you now....
Asus A8R-MVP MB
2x1gb 4-Layer V-Data PC3200 DDR SDRAM
Mercury EP-4500 500w (its a lie i tell ya!!

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (939) Manchester Core
AI Overclock - Manual
CPU Freq - 240
PCIE Freq - 100
FID/VID Change - Manual
Proc Freq Multiplier - x10
Proc Volt - 1.375
DDR Volt - 2.7
PCIE Volt - +1.20v
HT Link - 400MHz
DDR Clock - 400MHz
CPU Temp - 47 C
MB Temp - 36 C
As I Said I'm new to this and only read your guide to overclocking last wk (recommended by a friend) so an easy answer would be appreciated
