System slowdown?

Hey guys, so the other day I went and bought:

~ Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800
~ OCZ ZS Series 750W

for my system, I got them, installed them and everything was going great, I re-did the Windows experience index and my RAM had gone down from 7.8 to 7.5? so I was a little annoyed at this and not sure why it had happened, my old RAM seemed to be worse and had better scores?

Also, I've been experience slow downs, I've got 12GB of RAM and I'm getting lag and slow downs within my system? I'm not even using half my RAM.

The RAM that is working along side my Kingstom RAM is: Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800

I have no idea what is going on, -_-;

12GB of RAM? My maths isnt great but surely 8GB plus another 8GB would be 16GB no?

Is that a typo? Or are one of the RAM modules faulty?

LOL sorry, I've got 4GB of the Corsair! and 8GB of the Kingston XD.

Easy mistake to make lol

Looking at your sig I would hazard a guess that you are overclocking the CPU. Try resetting the CMOS to defaults then let the mobo auto OC the system and see if that solves your problem.

I have not over-clocked it yet, I do not have all of those parts in my sig, only the ones that are underlined.

I have:
12GB DDR3 @ 1600mhz
1TB HDD
AMD 5770
i5-750 @ 2.7GHz (stock)

I'll reset to factory defaults in the BIOS and then see what happens performance wise.
