Hi Everyone. I've been asked to spec a computer for £500, this is what i've come up with:

MB-088-AS - Asus A8N-E nForce4 Ultra (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard
£59.95

CP-119-AM AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice 90nm (Socket 939) - Retail (ADA3500BPBOX) (CP-119-AM) 1
£118.95

MY-061-CS Corsair 1GB DDR Value Select PC3200 CAS3.0 Kit (2x512MB) (VS1GBKIT400C3) (MY-061-CS) 1
£47.95

HD-058-SE Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 NCQ 250GB ST3250824AS SATA-II 8MB Cache - OEM (HD-058-SE) 1
£54.95

CD-030-NE NEC ND4570 16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter (Black) - OEM (CD-030-NE) 1
£24.95

GX-016-GI Gigabyte GeForce 6800 GS 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) & Quake 4 Bundle - Retail (GX-016-GI)
£109.95

Total = 500.14 (including VAT + Delivery)

Case and other peripherals will be obtained from bits lieing about my room.

My main concern is if this spec is balanced. Would it be better to drop to a 3200+ cpu and get another gig of RAM or a better/different GPU?

Also, any idea if it'll be able to run Spore when its out?

Thanks for the feedback. I doubt it'll be overclocked or anything like that, I asked here as its the best forum I know of to ask such questions and theres a handy shop website attached to it :p .
