Hi guys, i have the file server/download box bug.

I would like to build it around the

Asus Vintage V2-PH1 Barebones System - Intel LGA775 (FS-029-AS)

- Intel P4 up to 3.8 GHz (Prescott) LGA775
- North Bridge: Intel GMCH 945G Lakeport
- South Bridge: Intel ICH7
- 4 x DIMM DDR2 667/533

Is there any chance someone could please spec me the rest of the bits?

Not worried about a mouse, keyboard or monitor. Would like if possible a DVD-RW and a Wireless card.

Im hoping to keep the cost down nice and low, is less than £250 possible?

Cheers guys.

Unless you buy practically everything second hand from the memebers market or something, you are not gonna get that under £250 me thinks

I think this covers the basics but it is still £300 and no wireless card but I did pick up a USB one from OcUK for ~£5 not too long ago.

The 805 D's OTT for just a 'file server/download box' :(

Wireless I suggest a USB dongole like the Netgear WG111 54Mbps Network Adapter (NW-026-NG) £9.95. Very handy even just to have around
