Hi all

I'm looking for some assistance in troubleshooting a stability issue my system has developed. I'll start with my system specs first off

Core i7 2700k @ 3.9Ghz 1.12v / 4.1GHz @ 1.184v
Asus P8Z68 Pro-V
16GB Geil DDR3 @ 1600MHz CL9 1.525v
MSI Geforce GTX 780 Gaming (previously Radeon HD 6970)
3TB Hitachi 3k7000 with 60GB Intel 330 in SRT

My system has run stable @ 3.9GHz with the Radeon 6970 for years. I got the odd BSOD maybe once every 8-12 weeks or so on average, but nothing to complain about really. With the recent 780 price drops I picked up a MSI Gaming version and ever since I just can't get my system stable while gaming.

Very shortly after I received the 780 I decided to clock my 2700k to 4.1 and stress tested it to get it stable which it passes fine. However, while gaming I get a BSOD on average every 2-3 days (They can happen within a few seconds though). I've tried everything to resolved these, including increasing vcore, increase ram voltage, increasing and decreasing pll voltages, even returning my system to the old 3.9GHz profile which is known good isn't stable and BSODs in exactly the same manner.

The BSODs in question are 1A (Memory management) and 4E (PFN_list_corrupt). The system is IBT, Prime95 and memtest stable and has been tested on multiple occasions to confirm, yet the BSODs continue. These occur exclusively during gaming and the system doesn't BSOD at idle on the desktop, nor while stress testing. The previous AMD drivers were removed cleanly and the I've tried a few different nvidia drivers, including the latest WHQL ones and they haven't helped. I'm pretty much at the pulling hardware/formatting point now, but I wondered if anyone maybe had an idea or any further advice to try and track the cause of this before I do?

try with more vccio voltage for the memory controller

try 1.08v

is that ram rated at 1.5v or 1.65v ? enable xmp for your memory if it supports it but still manually set the vccio voltage it will be 1.05v at stock
 
Sorry, I actually put in both CPU voltages wrong :p. I actually run 1.12v @ 3.9GHz and 1.184v @ 4.1GHz

Memory is rated at 1.65v, but as stated it's been stable at these settings for a very long time and is memtest stable at that. Interesting side note, memory controllers sure do vary wildly. I used to own a 2600k which was killed by a VRM failure on a P8P67 Pro. On that I ran this memory at 1600 9-8-7 @ 1.500v fully stable. When I had to get my replacement 2700k I only got 1600 9-9-9 @ 1.525v with exactly the same memory.
 
Vccio is memory controller

Dram voltage is for the memory itself,I reckon you need a touch more vccio/vccsa voltage with 16gb,even if it passes memtest its still bsod on memory related error
