my system temp idles at 50 and my cpu temp idles at 30-40.

I've owned a lian-li pc-7 case before and the cooling as always been good I have a feeling it might be the psu thats causing the heat because when system temp gets up to 60+ on full load the top of the case near the psu is where it feels hottest.

System:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.67GHz (1066FSB)
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3P (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Asus GeForce 8800 GTS HTDP 640MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI
CellShock 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kithe
Lian-Li PC-7 PLUS Aluminium Midi-Tower Case
Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU

Might want to check that the PSU's fan is pushing air out rather that in, in case it's been put on back to front by the manufacturer by accident.

Its more likely to be your 8800gts causing the high motherboard temps due to the temp probe on the ds3 boards being right near the pci slots from what I can tell.
Does it go up and down the most when your playing games?

Sounds like you need to get better airflow though the case to the 8800 then if its reaching 60 on full load :)
Cables tidy? Dust? etc
Install Rivatuner and up the fan speed to say 80/100% for the 8800 which should bring down the temps a fair bit.
