Hi Guys

Just wanted some opinions regarding my system. Im trying to keep the system as quiet as possible.

Temps at idle:

cpu 24c
mobo 40c
gpu 31c

I have got a coolermaster 200mm intake and a 120mm at the back, both plugged into the mobo.
Within the asus fan utility, I have set the case fan to speed up with the cpu temp. So after 30 mins of gaming I get the following:

cpu 33c
mobo 34c
gpu 51c

Im really happy with the sound as its very quiet at idle, is the mobo temp ok at these temps?

cheers

Those temps seem pretty spot on, the only thing that could be better is your gpu, depends on the airflow of your case, i am running a GTX560TI and that sits at 37c, AMD x4 955 cpu 24c and Asus mobo 33c, all idle, all in an Antec 300 (soon on ebay as i have a HAF 932 comming) so its not bad, do some cable management or play with fan position and qty and things should be better.
Do a bench too and see what those temps are under load.

Can run WOW on ULTRA no problem with everything wound up to max and gpu gets to about 50c after about 2 hours.

SLI comming asap for Skyrim and BF3....:D

Thanks for your reply.
The temps dont get much more than the second temps in my first post when gaming. I ran prime for a bit and the cpu gets to abour 48c and the mobo about 34c.
I was just wondering if 40c on the mobo is ok for long term when just surfing and the like.

40c on the mobo is totally fine, i wouldn't even start to worry until it got to 60c+, and even then that is fine, just a touch on the warm side, but still well lower then the chips are all rated for.
