Hi all -
I don't use my system much but earlier this week it was working fine, went to turn it on last night and it was in a BSOD bootloop. The error simply saying "system thread exception not handled".
To try and get it to boot:
•Run the various startup repair options
•Reset the bios
•Tried to enter safe mode (unsuccessful)
In the end I reformatted and started fresh which seems to be working fine, everything has be reinstalled and left running overnight okay.
Furthermore I have since tried -
•Memtest86 on each stick - passed a loop okay
•Windows memory diagnostic - passed
•Checked the SMART info on the SSD - all good (only 700hrs on time)
Obviously I am concerned that this issue will crop up but I'm struggling to pin down a cause. Has anyone had or heard of similar before?
Specs -
6600k @ 4.7Ghz
Corsair Vengeance 3200Mhz 16GB
Superflower 750W Platinum
Gigabyte G1 GTX 970
Samsung 500gb EVO 850.
