system thread exception not handled

Hi,

Desperately looking for help on this, I have a asus rampage V Extreme with intel 5930k, corsair CMD64GX4M8A2400C14 memory. Started computer up and received this bsod with an infinite reboot, it does start an auto repair but a few seconds the bsod happens and reboots. I have tried different hard drives even got the media creation on usb and still does it when loading from usb. I have tried different graphics card, changed out ram, updated bios but still no joy. Even re seated cpu to see if that helped but didn't, thinking has to be motherboard or cpu faulty, any ideas guys

well think i have narrowed it down to psu,motherboard or cpu, new psu arrives tomorrow and if still the same RMA time of mobo and cpu

, with only the dvd drive connected and a windows setup disk still bsod after about 10 secs, i would be grateful if anyone has experienced this before to drop a reply

I have had this issue yesterday, none of the work rounds helped and I ended up reformatting the drive via USB recovery. I does sound very strange that you are still getting the same thing happen with different drives.

I have located the fault after trying a new motherboard and fault still persisted, The cpu had a faulty core, disabling core 3 in bios sorted it. Will be RMA`ing the cpu. Definately one problem I wont forget in a hurry lol.

Glad you have it sorted. I think mine was down to software as have not had a repeat since formatting
