Just moved an old system from one case to another. All was working well the other week before the transplant, but now when I turn it on, NOTHING! Powers up, but no signal on monitor whatsoever.
It's a P4 2.4ghz (Socket 478), P4PE motherboard, 1GB RAM and a 6600GT graphics card. Nothing special I know, but trying to get it up and running for my sister. As I say, this was all working the other week just perfectly. Only thing I've changed is a new CPU cooler, a Zalman CNPS7700.
I've tried a few things, disconnected everything inside the case except for the graphics card and HD, but still nothing. I'm not getting any beeps or anything though, so not sure what the problem is. Screen is just blank and can't find a signal. Don't think it's the monitor, as that works fine on another system, plus the USB mouse is not lighting up which it would do if it was booting normally I think. I don't have another graphics card to try, or another power supply, which are the only 2 culprits I can see. Unless the whole thing is just borked! Although how that could have happened I don't know!
Any suggestions?
