System Upgrade Advice

Hello everyone

I need to ask you guys for some advice on upgrading my PC.

Currently I am running:

GPU: XFX HD7970 x2 Crossfire
CPU: Intel Sandy Bridge i7 2600K 4.4Ghz
MOBO: Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z
RAM: Corsair Dominator 16GB 1866Mhz
CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H100
Case: Corsair 800D
PSU: Corsair 1200AX
SSD: Crucial M4 128GB
HDD: Samsung F3 1TB
DVD: Samsung Blu-Ray SH-B123
Sound Card: Creative Titanium HD
Monitors: 3 x Dell IPS U2312HM

Now, I have a good chance to sell my i7 2600K & M4E-Z for £400, so then I could buy i7 3930K + Rampage IV Extreme. Unfortunately I will have to add another £370 to it and I wonder if it's really worth it. All I do is play games, I don't do any professional stuff, maybe a bit of hacking government servers now and then but that's basically it... *just kidding*

Other than that, I really want to water-cool my entire system but this will cost a bit too, I'm looking at something like a £1000. So I just wonder if I should spend £370 on 6 core CPU.

Or, for the money I wouldn't spend on the CPU upgrade, I could buy another 7970 and have it in Tri-Sli. Or buy another HDD and an SSD for RAID 0 and more storage.

What do you guys think?

I would rather say it's the upgrade itch. I don't earn a lot of money but PC is the only thing I really invest my money in, excluding clothes, food etc...

System plays all games on maximum settings, but I have nothing else to do, and this is my only hobby. I just got bored of doing nothing.

Yeah but I have nothing else to do with my life (lol sad).

All I really play is BF3 and that is it, I rarely play anything else now. Steering wheel is kind of a good idea, don't have that one... Joystick I don't need and I already own 5.1 system which I cannot use anyway cause my parents just shout at the volume levels which are extremely low already.

I use AKG K242HD as my sound system

Just found out that X79 + CF + Eyefinity won't work as there is a lot if issues with it. So that's my answer, failAMD.
