Hi, I would like to upgrade my system for Witcher 3 and Batman. I'll be playing at 1080p resolution

This is my current specs:

HDD - 2TB Western Digital Black
SSD - 1TB Samsung SSD 840 EVO 1TB

OS: Windows 8.1 pro
CPU - Intel Core i5 2300 2.8GHz
CPU Cooler - Hyper 212 Evo
Motherboard - Gigabyte Z77-DS3H
PSU - TX850M
RAM - 8GB
GPU - 3GB 7950

I don't need to upgrade my Keyboard, mouse or monitor but I need a new case.

My budget is between £400 and £500. I could pay a bit more if its only a little bit over.

What case do you have?

I'm just thinking you need a newer gfx card, but also make sure your BIOS is up to date.

Whatever card you decide to get check its length against the space in your case.

If you don't have these games ordered yet then the GTX970 comes with both for £300

How about keeping it all blue?

YOUR BASKET
1 x gigabyte geforce gtx 970 g1 gaming 4096mb gddr5 pci-express graphics card £299.99
1 x nzxt h440 midi-tower - black / blue £89.99
total : £404.08 (includes shipping : £11.75 ex.vat).

you can also overclock your cpu a bit by setting the turbo boost ratios (four of them in the bios) to a couple of ratios higher and all four the same.

So if your Turbo max is 3.1Ghz you should be able to set it to do 3.5Ghz.

Sweet. Thank you very much, stulid.

If you get a 2nd 7950 it's only gonna cost you around 80 quid and CF 7950 is same performance as a 970, or you can also CF with a 280/280x. Your PSU allows it too. As for case, the Phanteks Enthoo Pro best case under 100 imo.
