I want to refresh my system from a Core i7 8700K to the latest gen Intel i7, with respective board and RAM etc.
I currently have an EK X360 Extreme water cooling loop *no competitor links*
I would rather not replace this, as it still works great, but the CPU block is naturally incompatible with the latest gen boards and CPUs.
Does anyone know if I can/should replace just the CPU block and retain the pump, reservoir, radiators and tubing? (side note, I will most likely replace the soft tubing with new acrylic hard tubing anyway)
After 5 years, should I actually be replacing everything anyway?
Cheers
