Is it possible to just replace the motherboard, processor and ram without expecting any problems? For example, my rig has an A8N sli deluxe mobo with a 3200+ 64 and some generic DDR400 ram. I'm intending on replacing this with one of the bundles on OCuk, like say, http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-036-OK

Is there anything I should be aware of? Like, if my HDD isnt supported with those kinds of motherboards, and PSU stuff, etc. (my current one is an enermax noisetaker 485w)

edit:

Complete specs:
3200+ 64 bit
DDR400 crucial value ram, 2x512mb
A8Nsli deluxe motherboard
X800 GTO2 PCI-e
IDE HDD 80gig
Enermax Noisetaker 485watt ATX2.0
V770 case
DVD RW 16x
DVD Drive
Broken floppy disc drive :p

Your PSU should be ok but the most obvious issue I can see is your hard drive. Many new (particularly Intel 965 based) mobos only have 1 x IDE channel (for two devices) which would be taken by your DVD drives leaving the hard drive no where to go.

What about if I got rid of the plain DVD drive? As the DVDRW can read and play DVDs just fine. That would allow a single IDE channel to take in the HDD and the drive wouldnt it?
