System upgrade spec rate/improve please :)

Currently looking to upgrade my current q9550 skt775 system with possibly the above spec. Basically after something current, decent upgrade path and performs well in games (wont be doing much else on it). I already have corsair xms3 dual channel ram, optical drive and a 4870 1GB gpu which i'll be using as well. Then installing w7 retail on it when its released. If you can improve on the spec or offer any recommendations please do

By the way i'm looking for something not much more than around the £550 mark.

Whilst its a decent set up youve specced, its basically a side step from your current set up, as you said its mostly gaming then youd be much better off spending the cash on a new 5870

Not much point then you reckon? Would getting a corsair H50 and a new psu (currently only have a 4pin cpu power connector) so i can overclock be a better idea?

no thats a side step it might be a *bit* faster but you pay the price, also what case do you have, as a decent air cooler can keep the q9550 cool when overclocked, I have the titan

also what is the rest of the specs, I would get the corsiar 650watt, unless you wanna xfire in which case a 750watt to be save
